Is your knitwear handmade?
Yes, all of our knitwear is lovingly handmade using our own designs by Clementine and Nanna Satsuma.
Where is your knitwear made?
Our knitwear is made in the UK using carefully chosen, high-quality yarns.
What yarns do you use?
We use premium yarns that have been tried, tested and worn to make sure they’re comfortable and long-lasting.
How should I care for my knitwear?
We recommend gentle hand washing or a wool cycle with mild detergent, reshaping while damp and drying flat.
Are your knit designs exclusive to SoSatsuma?
Yes, all of our knit designs are our own and created in-house.
Do you restock sold-out knitwear?
Sometimes. As our knitwear is handmade, restocks depend on time and yarn availability.
Do handmade items take longer to process?
Yes. Handmade knitwear has a lead time of up to 4 weeks for your order to be made and processed, not including delivery time.
Can I return handmade knitwear?
As knitwear is handmade to order, I’m unable to accept returns unless there is an obvious fault or mistake on my part.
What if my knitwear item is faulty?
I’m happy to refund faulty items within 14 days of purchase, as long as they are unworn and in their original packaging.
How do I report a fault?
Please contact me before returning the item so we can discuss the issue and arrange the next steps.
Clothing
Is your clothing handmade?
No, our clothing collection is curated rather than handmade.
Where is your clothing made?
Our clothing is made by trusted manufacturers, with some pieces produced in Italy.
How do you choose the clothing you stock?
Each piece is hand selected for comfort, quality and how it feels to wear. If we wouldn’t wear it ourselves, it won’t be in the collection.
Is your clothing ethically produced?
We work with manufacturers we trust and choose clothing based on quality, longevity and responsible production where possible.
How do I care for my clothing?
Care instructions are listed on each product page to help you look after your pieces properly.
Shipping
Where do you ship to?
I currently ship within the UK and worldwide.
Who do you ship with?
All orders are sent using Royal Mail.
How long does UK delivery take?
UK delivery usually takes 3–5 working days once your order has been dispatched.
How long does international delivery take?
Europe deliveries usually take 5–7 working days, and deliveries outside Europe typically take 7–10 working days after dispatch.
How long does it take to dispatch my order?
Dispatch times can be between 7–14 days. I always do my absolute best to get your order out to you as quickly as possible.
Do handmade items take longer to process?
Yes. Handmade knitwear has a lead time of up to 4 weeks for your order to be made and processed, not including delivery time.
Will I be charged customs fees?
For orders shipped outside the UK, any customs fees or import charges are the responsibility of the customer.
How much is postage?
Postage is charged at a flat rate per order.
What are your postage rates?

Returns
Can I return clothing items?
Yes, clothing items can be returned within 14 days, provided they are unworn, undamaged and in resellable condition.
What condition must returns be in?
Items must be returned in perfect condition. Items that smell of washing detergent, fabric conditioner or Febreze will not be refunded.
Do you accept returns on sale items?
No, sale items are non-refundable.
Who pays for return postage?
At the moment, I’m unable to cover the cost of return postage.
How should I return my item?
I strongly recommend returning items via Royal Mail Tracked. If you choose not to use a tracked service, I can’t be held responsible for lost parcels.
How long do refunds take?
Refunds are issued as soon as returned items are received and checked. It may then take a few days for your bank to process the refund.
What information should I include with my return?
Please include your name and order number in the parcel so I can process your refund.
